How does the Artists Fund help?
The Artists Fund issues grants to qualifying artists or will direct an artists to additional service sites.
Who qualifies for Artists Fund assistance?
Any working artist who is currently participating or has exhibited at the Festival of Arts in the past is eligible to apply for a grant.
How do I apply?
You will need to fill out the grant application and provide the necessary documentation as requested. Grant applications are available several ways: you can request we email you an application or you can download the application from the website.
How often can an artist apply for grant assistance?
The Artists Fund will review & consider repeat grant applications every 30 days.
Who reviews and decides if grants are awarded?
Once a grant is presented, two members of the Artists Fund Executive Board will review application. It takes two Executive Board Member signatures to approve grant.
Who knows about approved grants?
All grant applications, as well as approved grants are strictly confidential. Only the two Executive Board Members know the identity of applicants.
Do I need to repay the grant?
Artists are not required to repay a grant but are encouraged to support the Fund by participating in our fundraising programs e.g. donate a work of art to be used for our Art To Go program, etc.
